Our purpose at SURF’S UP is to: Draw All Children to God
Sounds simple, right? Well it is. We believe our ministry is here to help children grow in their relationships with God whether we are working with babies, toddlers, preschoolers, or elementary kids and whether they have been attending church their entire lives or are at church for the first time. Our desire is to meet kids where they are and to cultivate growth in their intimacy with God.
Our mission at SURF’S UP is as easy as S.U.R.F.S.
Our mission at SURF’S UP is to SHARE Christ with children who do not know him and UNITE them together with other children in the church. We do this so they will know how to REFLECT God to others as we teach them to FOLLOW Him with their lives and SERVEGod using their gifts, talents, and abilities.
Our Values at SURF’S UP are to:
Reinforce the purposes and vision of our church and pastor
Inspire children to understand that the Bible is relevant to their lives and that their growth in their knowledge of God results in positive changes in attitudes and actions
Defend children with an uncompromising safety process
Empower leaders to discover their life mission and live life to its fullest potential
Train leaders and children to develop life-changing, life-long relationships with Christ
