From the Church – To Our Community – To Our World

This is a ministry of service, care and support from our church to the community and the world.  The ministries under this umbrella include Compassion Ministries, Community Service Projects, Prayer Ministry, Recovery Ministry, Global Mission Support, and Seminars offered throughout the year.

Why Should I Serve? Take a look around. Look beyond yourself. What do you see?

  • Locally:   A world that has not experienced the loving revolution of the genuine Christ.
  • Globally: Believers in countries around the world with the desire to share the love they have found, but lacking the training & the resources.

Serving is one of the ways that we can express our love and joy for all the things that God has given us.  Serving will make your church feel like home.  Serving will get you connected with people.  The primary reason Jesus calls us to be servants is not just because other people need our service, it is because of what happens to us when we serve.  It changes our life and makes us more compassionate people.  God can do tremendous things with us if we allow Him the opportunity!

What Is Needed to Serve? A willing heart! Be willing to commit some time to serve others, whether it is just an hour every few months, a few hours every month, or weekly. The type of service is less important than just being available to serve in whichever way God leads you.

Where Do I Serve? There are all kinds of opportunities requiring varying commitments of time. We have something for everyone!  If you are unsure as to what ministry you would like to be involved in, just pick one. You can always change, but the idea is to just start serving!
